Ryder Architecture
About the event
Discover the fascinating history behind the Grade II listed Cooper’s Studios with NE1’s 24 Doors of Christmas.
Explore its unique past as a horse and carriage repository which hosted weekly horse auctions, dating back to its construction in 1897 for businessman James Cooper.
You’ll also explore the original features – including the central atrium that acted as the auction parade area, and first floor ladies viewing gallery – with this fantastic free tour.
These 45-minute tours take place at 9:30am, 11am, 1pm and 2:30pm. This event is free but tickets must be reserved in advance. Book your tickets at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/24-doors-ryder-architecture-tickets-1087081553189.
If you book a ticket but are unable to make it to the event, please cancel your ticket by emailing NE1 at kitty.brown@newcastlene1ltd.com or calling 0191 235 7098 as we operate wait lists for each event to ensure people who can attend are offered the chance to.
