Explore the Edith Adamson Carillon at Newcastle Civic Centre with NE1’s 24 Doors of Christmas!
Get up close to the carillon – the heaviest of its kind in the world – and see how it’s played alongside learning about its rich history and the history of carillons.
To help get you into the festive spirit, your carillonist and tour guide will even play a selection of carols and you’re more than welcome to sing along!
Tours take place at 11am, 1pm and 4pm and begin at the River God statue outside Newcastle Civic Centre’s main entrance. This event is free but tickets must be reserved in advance. Book your tickets at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/24-doors-edith-adamson-carillon-tickets-1089826322869.
If you book a ticket but are unable to make it to the event, please cancel your ticket by emailing NE1 at kitty.brown@newcastlene1ltd.com or calling 0191 235 7098 as we operate wait lists for each event to ensure people who can attend are offered the chance to.
